Statistical methods in dissolution profile comparison

The scope of the training covers current, up-to-date model-dependent and model independent methods used for dissolution profile comparison, their scope of application as well as advantages and disadvantages from statistical point of view. After the training, participants will be able to select the appropriate dissolution profile comparison method adapted to the specific case, perform a comparative analysis of dissolution profiles and prepare a comparative report. The individual statistical issues will be initially discussed theoretically and then developed in the form of exercises.

Who should attend?

• Anyone involved in comparing dissolution profiles. You are welcome if you still know nothing about data analysis and statistics used in the statistical evaluation of dissolution profile comparison. If you already know something, but need to structure your knowledge and move on to practice. Also, if you are already familiar with statistics, but need a tool with which you can perform your analyses quickly and easily. This course is a foundation on which you can further build your knowledge and skills in data analysis

   • Model independent method – similarity factor f2 bootstrap
   • Model independent method – multivariate statistical distance
   • Model dependent method
4. Examples of application of each dissolution method

Training hours: 8:15 AM – 3:30 PM
