PLThe competition for the best doctoral and master’s theses prepared using statistical and data analysis tools from the Statistica software family has been organized since 1998. The main goals of the competition are to promote the proper use of modern analytical methods in various fields of scientific research and to recognize the authors of the best theses. For many years, the competition has been under the patronage of the Polish Statistical Society.
Attractive prizes await the winners, including:

Cash prizes for the authors and supervisors of the best theses – total prize pool: PLN 15,000.

Free selected training courses from StatSoft for the institutions promoting the doctoral and master’s theses.

Submissions for this year’s edition were accepted until October 31, 2025. Information about the next edition of the competition will be announced soon.
