Competition for the best doctoral and master’s thesis

Since 1998, we have been organizing a competition for the best doctoral and master’s theses prepared using statistical and data analysis tools from the Statistica software family. The main goals of the competition are to promote the correct use of modern analytical methods across various fields of scientific research and to recognize the authors of the best theses. For many years, the competition has been held under the patronage of the Polish Statistical Association.

Submissions for this year’s edition will be accepted until October 31, 2025.

Attractive prizes await the winners, including:

• cash prizes for the authors and supervisors of the best theses – with a total prize pool of 12000 PLN,
• free selected training courses from the StatSoft offer for institutions supporting doctoral and master’s theses.
