Privacy policy

In connection with your contact with us—whether by email or telephone inquiry, registration for a webinar, seminar or training session or registration on our website—we have obtained your personal data.

The controller of your personal data is StatSoft Polska Sp. z o.o., with its registered office in Kraków, address: ul. Cystersów 9, 31-553 Kraków, email: info@statsoft.pl. Any requests regarding your personal data, as described below, should be sent to the above email or postal address.

The data is processed for the purpose of delivering the service you expect (specifically: responding to your inquiry, enabling participation in a webinar, seminar, or training session, confirming your eligibility for an academic license, or providing access to content available on our website). The legal basis for such processing is Article 6(1)(b) and (d) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation — GDPR).

The data is also processed for the purpose of marketing the data controller’s own products and services. The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, and the legitimate interest pursued by the data controller is the marketing of its own products and services. You have the right to object to such processing, in which case your data will be deleted and will no longer be used for marketing purposes.

Your data will only be shared with entities authorized under applicable laws.

The data will be stored for the period necessary to provide the requested service (correspondence, training or seminar services, provision of electronic services), and thereafter until the expiry of the limitation period for any potential claims.

For the purposes of marketing the controller’s own products and services, the data will be stored until an objection to the processing is submitted.

You have the right to access your personal data, rectify it, delete it, restrict its processing and the right to data transfer.

Providing your personal data was voluntary.

You have the right to file a complaint to the supervisory authority for personal data protection, which in Poland is the president of the Personal Data Protection Office.
